Six Strategies for Self-Sufficient Women

SixStrategies.org is a project organized by active European feminist organizations similar to Wider Opportunities for Women, and the Ms. Foundation for Women, using the information for example from the Corporation for Enterprise Development and the Center for Community Economic Development. Our focus is to provide resources and assistance for ordinary women and their families to get out of poverty.

The main idea of this website is to help people to find new ideas and see what has been done in the past regarding different kinds of projects and efforts. There are also lots of different links for well-known working strategies and proposals, success stories as well as other relevant online material and links. Hopefully this will help to gain a wider audience during the following years.

We would like to thank the Ford Foundation, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Norman Foundation, the Finnish Debt Relief Fund, www.nettikasinovertailu.info and the Rockefeller Family Fund for their support.
